Canadian Lawyer’s January 2018 cover story features Miller Thomson among firms leading the way with the rise of open-concept office design across the Canadian legal profession. The article highlights our Vancouver office which was designed to facilitate increased collaboration, creating a “legal knowledge centre” with common areas to encourage spontaneous dialogue and accommodate “firm-wide events and legal education functions that draw in existing and prospective clients.” Our newest location in Vaughan, which opened last July, has followed Vancouver’s example with a similar design.
