We are pleased to extend our congratulations to the Honourable Justice Kent H. Davidson, former Chair of Miller Thomson, who has been appointed Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and a Judge ex officio of the Court of Appeal of Alberta.

Mr. Justice Davidson joined Miller Thomson in 2001 as a Labour & Employment partner, and has held numerous leadership positions at the firm, including Managing Partner for the Edmonton office and Managing Partner for Alberta. In 2014, he was elected Chair of the firm, a position he held until his appointment.

“We would like to thank the Honourable Justice Davidson for his leadership and many contributions to the firm over the past 18 years and wish him all the best in this exciting new phase of his career”, says Interim Chair of the Executive Committee Jeff N. Grubb. “His farewell message to the firm noted that opportunities for meaningful public service must be seized when they arise, and we are pleased that he has been presented with such an occasion.”
