James Klotz is appointed member of FIFA’s Independent Governance Committee.

James Klotz, partner at Miller Thomson, is appointed one of nine
members of the newly formed Independent Governance Committee. Fédération
Internationale de Football Association’s (FIFA’s) committee consists of experts
in governance and compliance, and experts from the world of football and sports
marketing, who will oversee reforms and establish adequate anti-corruption
measures for FIFA. Other
notable members include Lord Goldsmith, former attorney general of the UK and
Sunil Gulati, president of the US Soccer Federation.
