Recent criticisms have drawn attention to the controversial New Veterans Charter, which outlines benefits for injured soldiers. In the Toronto Star, Don Sorochan says Miller Thomson has agreed to launch a constitutional challenge on behalf of wounded and injured soldiers, arguing that the financial benefits they get are significantly less than the damages they would be entitled to if they had suffered similar injuries in a car crash or workplace accident.
