Brian Kaliel comments on the increasing age of the Canadian farmer in The Globe and Mail as part of its coverage on the 2011 Census of Agriculture.

“The concern is that farmers are aging, and for the sector and for the economy generally, where are we going to find young farmers to fill the role of those folks who are leaving the business?” said Kaliel who is part of the firm’s Agriculture and Food Production Group and based in the Edmonton office.
