Navigating Global Skills Strategy Labour Mobility for Foreign Talent in IT and Tech in Canada

January 25, 2018 | Veronica K. Choy, Sharon Se Jung An | Vancouver

Miller Thomson’s national Immigration group is hosting a breakfast seminar to address immigration programs recently announced by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) that will facilitate the recruitment and hiring of foreign talent (specifically those in Tech and IT positions) to Canada.

In 2017, the Canadian government unveiled its multifaceted Global Skills Strategy specifically to facilitate the movement and hire of professional level workers into Canada. Many of the new or modified programs have been specifically designed and implemented to facilitate the hire of foreign talent for IT and Tech positions in Canada in the introduction of simplified and/or “fasttracked” streams during the immigration process.

Join us for this session to learn more about the Global Skills Strategy program, other new changes in the world of Canadian Immigration, and how we can assist you to fulfill your recruitment needs.
