Miller Thomson’s Health Industry Group hosts a complimentary webinar/audio conference on November 16, 2016 at 8:00 a.m., entitled “Return to Work Accommodation for Mental Health Illnesses and Conditions”, presented by David Tsai .

This Coffee Talk will include a discussion of the following:

  • Challenges facing employers during the initial return to work request when mental health issues are in play.
  • Challenges when proposing and implementing accommodation measures, such as when employees demand a particular response or accommodation from an employer.
  • Following up and following through in situations where an accommodation plan has been implemented which allows an employee with a mental health disability to return to work and to function successfully in the workplace.
