Coffee Talk: Health Industry Seminar Series – COVID-19 Lockdown Lifting: Expert Panel on Resumption of Health Care Services

Karima Kanani, Kathryn M. Frelick, Hugh R. Dyer, Robert England |

Public hospitals, community care providers, family health teams, mental health agencies, regulated health professional services and more have had to reduce to essential services and, in many cases, close physical workplaces.

Ontario has now announced its intention to move into the first phase of lifting restrictions which includes allowing certain health and medical services to resume. The resumption of service in an environment of a continued COVID-19 threat will require careful consideration to ensure organizations are risk-protected in all aspects of their operations.

On Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. E.T., join our Miller Thomson Health Industry Group expert panel for a moderated discussion on key considerations for service resumption.

This program is eligible for up to 1.5 Substantive Hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Note: Participants intending to claim LSO CPD credits are required to register individually and participate in the live webinar.
