Geoff Mason speaks to Jas Johal about the new Pay Transparency Act which will require employers to include wages in job postings as of November 1, 2023.

The job posting requirements coming out of the Pay Transparency Act are really focused on closing the pay gap – specifically the gender pay gap…, the idea being that if employers are required to disclose the expected salary or salary range for a particular position at the time they’re posting it, they don’t have the opportunity to … adjust that after the gender or ethnicity … of the actual candidate is known.
