September 19, 2016

On September 19, 2016, Thalmic Labs Inc., makers of the Myo Gesture Control Armband, announced a US$120 million Series B financing led by Intel Capital, The Amazon Alexa Fund and Fidelity Investments Canada.

Thalmic Labs, based in Kitchener-Waterloo, develops human-computer interaction technologies that bridge the gap between man and machine. This new investment will help the company realize its vision for the next era of computing, where the lines between humans and digital technology become increasingly blurred.

Miller Thomson advised Thalmic Labs in this financing with a team led by Todd Bissett.
