On August 30, 2018, Sun Life Financial (“Sun Life”) completed a syndicated term loan in favour of a Canadian fully integrated real estate company, for the purposes of recapitalizing and providing financing for general corporate purposes of a multi-unit shopping centre in Saskatchewan consisting of over 500,000 square feet of retail space.
Miller Thomson advised Sun Life with respect to this financing with a team led by Michael Morcom (Financial Services) and Eric Johnson (Corporate/M&A) and included Stefan Mirkovic (Financial Services).
