On October 30, 2017, Keywords Studios PLC completed its acquisition of two North America-focused businesses from Volt Information Services Inc. for US$66.4 million, funded through a £75 million share placing, its largest acquisition to date. Keywords acquired VMC Consulting Corp and Volt Canada Inc., collectively VMC, which provide functional testing and customer support for the video games industry.
Miller Thomson advised Keywords on the Canadian component in this acquisition with a team that included Philipp Park, Stéphanie Normandin, Julien Morier and Isabella Covino.
