On October 1, 2020, Innovation Credit Union completed the sale of its insurance brokerage business to Westland Insurance Group Ltd (“Westland”), a Property & Casualty insurance brokerage established in Ladner, B.C.
Innovation Credit Union is a Canadian credit union offering financial services based in Swift Current, S.K.
Miller Thomson advised Innovation Credit Union in the transaction with a team led by Glen Lekach (Corporate/M&A), and comprising of Dezarae Senft, Rick Van Beselaere, and Wuraola Dasylva (Corporate/M&A); and Stewart Berringer (Real Estate).
