On April 6, 2016, Canadian game investor Execution Labs announced that it was partnering with independent game developer Robot Loves Kitty on the Upsilon Circuit streamed video game show. The partnership involves an equity investment by Execution Labs in Robot Loves Kitty and the deployment of its team to work alongside the independent game developer.
Montreal-based Execution Labs recently announced a new funding model, converting from a game accelerator to a publisher-investor, working on larger projects that can have more impact.
Miller Thomson advised Execution Labs with respect to this partnership with a team that included Philipp Park and Philippe St-Louis.
