On November 28, 2016, Supremex Inc. (TSX: SXP) announced that it had acquired substantially all of the assets of Durabox Paper Inc.
Supremex is a leading North American manufacturer and marketer of a broad range of stock and custom envelopes and growing provider of packaging and specialty products, with facilities across seven provinces in Canada and three facilities in the United States.
Quebec-based Durabox, a manufacturer of specialty corrugated paper boxes, is a family owned and operated business serving customers primarily in Central and Eastern Canada as well as in the United States.
Andrew Etcovitch provided tax advice to Durabox and its shareholders with respect to this transaction.
