On October 9, 2018, WESCO Group of Companies (“WESCO”) acquired all shares in Color Compass (1987) Corporation (“Color Compass”). Both WESCO and Color Compass are leading automotive paint, body, and equipment distributors, with the Color Compass group including the businesses of Carlson Body Shop Supply, Chase Auto Body Supplies, Rocky Mountain Sales, White & Peters, and PBE Distributors. The combined WESCO group is now one of the largest privately-held PBE distributors in North America, with more than 70 stores, 12 distribution centres, and 9 equipment divisions in the western U.S. and most of Canada.
