On February 2, 2016, VeriFone Systems Inc. (NYSE: PAY) of San Jose, California completed its previously announced acquisition of AJB Software Design, Inc., a Toronto-based provider of payment gateway and switching solutions for large merchants in the US and Canada. The purchase price was approximately US$75 million in cash.
