Portrait of Sabrina Garieri

Overview

Sabrina graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law Common Law program. Prior to law school, Sabrina received an undergraduate degree from York University where she pursued a double major in Criminology and Political Science. Throughout the duration of her undergraduate degree, she spent time working in the real estate industry where she developed an interest in large scale construction and land development projects.

Sabrina is also a strong believer in access to justice and giving back to her community. During her first year of law school, she organized an initiative called ‘1L Gives Back’ where her year collectively donated over 50 care packages to Ottawa’s homeless community. In her second year she served as Program Coordinator for the Pro Bono Students Canada chapter at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Here she assisted in placing over 70 students with different access-to-justice oriented organizations across Ottawa.

In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, Formula 1 racing, and working on her golf game.
