Overview

Ronald recently completed his second year at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law. He is a member of the University Appeals Tribunal and a former member of the Faculty Appeals Committee. He is also a law ambassador for the school. In addition, he volunteered as a caseworker at Student Legal Assistance in Calgary and at the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program in Vancouver.

Ronald obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction) at Simon Fraser University where he majored in criminology and dual minored in business administration and sociology. Ronald also completed a thesis exploring legal aid work in British Columbia. While at SFU, he participated in the co-operative education program, peer mentorship, the Student Society, and a humanitarian club.

Prior to law school, he spent several years working for a provincial Crown insurer and for an agency under the federal public safety portfolio.

In his spare time, Ronald enjoys gardening, playing chess, and listening to podcasts.
