Overview

Matthew completed his J.D at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. In his first year of law school, Matthew joined the school’s community legal clinic as a Student Caseworker in the Housing division, working there before joining the firm for his 2L summer.

Prior to attending law school, Matthew worked as a Property Manager for a large residential landholding company. In this position he managed a portfolio of mid to high-rise apartment buildings; supervising building staff and overseeing capital expenditure projects.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Queen’s University, where he majored in Classics. During his fourth year, he served as Co-President of the Queen’s Pre-Law Society, and throughout his time as a Queen’s student he was actively involved in a group-mentorship organization called Friday Friends.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys running, kitesurfing, and watching his favourite British soccer team: Tottenham.
