Overview

Kristin received her Juris Doctor from Western Law. Prior to attending law school she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude.

During law school, Kristin worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Richard H. McLaren, O.C., conducting research in the areas of commercial law, secured transactions, dispute resolution, and sports law. She also served as a Student Ambassador for Western and as a Teaching Assistant for first year Contracts. Additionally, Kristin volunteered with the Dispute Resolution Centre where she assisted members of the London community by mediating disputes and facilitating conflict resolution workshops for various organizations.

Kristin was a varsity athlete throughout both law school and her undergraduate studies. While at Western, she led the Varsity Fencing Team as Captain to two consecutive gold medal finishes at the OUA Championship and in her final season, was awarded the MVP.

In her spare time, Kristin enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and fencing competitively throughout Canada.
