Overview
Ian Wilson is an Articling Student at Miller Thomson’s Edmonton Office. Ian obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2017. During his time at the Faculty of Law, Ian participated in a number of sports activities, most notably the Litigators hockey team. Prior to attending the law school, Ian obtained a Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta, with a focus on Biology. Upon completion of his Bachelor’s degree, he worked in management in the hospitality industry before returning to his studies.
Ian has received a number of academic distinctions including the Jason Lang Scholarship and the Wayne Gretzky Award for scholastic achievement and community involvement.
Ian has a passion for sport, with a focus on hockey, soccer, and golf. He also has an interest in history, notably European, Middle Eastern, and Asian.
