Alicia returns to Miller Thomson as an Articling Student after completing a summer placement with the firm in 2017. Alicia received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in June 2019, graduating with distinction. During her time at the Faculty of Law, Alicia was involved in the Civil Project of Student Legal Services, as a silent auction volunteer for the Law Show, and as student mentor. During her final year of law school, Alicia participated in the Mental Health and the Law Internship where she was involved in launching Edmonton’s Mental Health Court.

Prior to attending law school, Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction majoring in Psychology at the University of Alberta. While completing her undergraduate degree, Alicia spent her time as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She was also involved in research at the Alberta Hospital on recidivism rates relating to the NCR-MD population.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys living an active lifestyle, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.
