Legal Assistant – Real Estate – Vaughan

We are seeking a Legal Assistant for a full-time opportunity in the Real Estate group supporting one Partner and one Associate and the team, as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years’ experience as a Real Estate Legal Assistant and a Certificate or Diploma from a Community College or equivalent.

This position requires someone with strong administrative and organizational skills. The incumbent must be able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize work, and take direction.  A team oriented approach and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are also essential.  The successful candidate should also have strong typing skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Conveyancer is required.

In this role, some responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Dealing with various commercial real estate transactions including condo development, purchases, sales and financing
  • Maintain files and folders in both electronic and hard copy
  • Manage agendas, coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Maintain client contact ensuring fast turnaround and the utmost attention to top-quality, error-free work.
  • Other duties as assigned
