Family Law cases are becoming increasingly complex and difficult and require the attention of knowledgeable, sophisticated and seasoned counsel.  Miller Thomson’s Family Law team members are action- and results-oriented.  Our lawyers have significant experience and practical expertise in recognizing and managing the range of family law issues which can arise in the context of marriage or relationship breakdown. This can include unmarried spouses, separation, divorce including the myriad of issues involving children, such as, custody and access, child and spousal support, and property division issues. Not all of our work involves marriage or relationship breakdown.  Our Family Law team is knowledgeable and experienced in advising and negotiating marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, adoptions, international matters, and related matters.  We regularly work with estate planning and financial planning specialists to assist our client meet their objectives.
