Biography
Trevor Grant is a member of Miller Thomson’s Corporate/Commercial group and works from the firm's Kitchener-Waterloo office.
During his time at Miller Thomson LLP, Trevor has gained considerable experience in a broad spectrum of corporate/commercial law. He has been extensively involved in Share and Asset Purchases, Convertible Debentures, Distribution Agreements, Franchise Agreements, and various Private and Institutional Financings.
Upon a recent six month secondment, Trevor worked extensively within a large international client’s Industry and Energy business units and was involved in the negotiation and drafting of numerous commercial agreements including, but not limited to, Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Preferred Supplier Agreements, End User License Agreements (“EULAs”), Non-Disclosure Agreements, Capital Equipment Lease Agreements, Software Service Agreements and Wind Turbine Supply Agreements. Trevor also gained considerable experience in evaluating and aiding in the response to and internal risk assessment of numerous Request for Proposals in a wide array of business areas.
During his Articles, Trevor spent six months on an international articling placement in the Chicago office of Vedder Price P.C. where Trevor worked largely with their Aircraft Finance Practice Group drafting documents for, and otherwise aiding in, several large multi-aircraft financings.
Outside the practice of law, Trevor enjoys skiing and playing golf.
