Miller Thomson’s Max Maréchaux, who represents Ernst & Young LLP, was awarded the Office Lease of the Year Award at the 13th Annual Real Estate Excellence (REX) Awards.
Maréchaux represented Ernst &Young LLP in one of its largest lease transactions in Canada in more than 20 years. Ernst & Young LLP will be the lead tenant in Oxford Properties’ new development currently under construction at 100 Adelaide Street West, Toronto, to be known as the Ernst & Young Tower.
The new tower is scheduled for completion in June 2017. It will be certified LEED Platinum and consist of 40 storeys with a total area of approximately 900,000 square feet.
The award was part of the 13th Annual Real Estate Excellence (REX) Awards Gala event held on April 9, 2014.
