James Klotz covers Lexpert

2 mai 2014 | James M. Klotz

James Klotz, a partner at Miller Thomson and chair of the firm’s Anti-Corruption and International Governance Group, is on the cover of the May issue of Lexpert.

In an article titled, “Anti-Corruption is on the Corporate Radar,” Klotz discusses at length the implications of corporate corruption, its serious legal consequences, and how, increasingly, Canadian businesses are no longer perceived to be squeaky clean.

At the end of May, Klotz ended his two-and-a-half year term as part of the International Governance Committee looking into corruption at FIFA. The committee’s findings were published in a report titled “FIFA Governance Reform Project,” offering conclusions on how the world soccer body can successfully move towards creating a sustainable compliance culture.
