Gerald Chipeur, QC and Sean Kelly have succeeded in an application for leave to intervene in the Supreme Court of Canada in the case of Loyola v. Quebec.  The hearing will take place in March of this year and will address the limits on the power of government to control freedom of conscience, religion, thought and speech in Canada.  Miller Thomson will be arguing that the government of Quebec may not dictate the thought and speech of teachers in private Catholic schools in that province.
