Our Expertise
We work with lenders and borrowers to facilitate the financing of a variety of infrastructure and industrial projects. This includes assessing the nature of a project, the appropriate methods of financing, developing a project framework and advising on regulatory, legal and business issues. Our extensive experience combined with an understanding of the current market allows our team to advise clients effectively and manage the risks associated with complex projects.
Our Experience
- Acted as Canadian counsel for a syndicate of lenders led by The Royal Bank of Scotland regarding US$1,800,000,000 acquisition and operating facilities in connection with the acquisition by the borrower of Canadian and U.S. port facilities
- Negotiated the construction, ownership, operating, gathering, processing, transportation, sales, distribution and management documentation associated with the first Canadian commercial natural gas development project north of the Arctic Circle
