Our Group
Miller Thomson’s Private M&A Group consists of lawyers who are key members of our national M&A practice. Our Group has extensive experience working with clients from a wide range of industries. That knowledge, combined with our expertise in all major areas of law, position us well to advise and assist in connection with the full range of specialized services for M&A transactions, including fund formation, tax, and securities.

We act for private and public companies as well as venture capital and other private equity firms that are considering private company acquisitions, buy-outs, divestitures, minority investments or other private company M&A transactions
Our Services
Our lawyers look first at our clients’ goals and will work closely with them to see their deals efficiently completed. We appreciate the importance of walking our M&A clients through every step in the life of their transaction from the creative structuring and presenting of bids and the drafting of acquisition and financing agreements, to getting the deal done. Given the complex and varied legal and regulatory issues that arise in such transactions, our Private M&A Group will assemble a multidisciplinary team of lawyers on every transaction, drawing upon our firm’s expertise in other areas of specialty such as tax, competition/antitrust, foreign investment review, and financing, among others.
