Marjolaine Lessard-Jean focuses her practice primarily on labour and employment law. In this capacity, she supports a wide variety of clients, ranging from family-owned and operated businesses to major corporations and small and medium-sized businesses from all sectors and industries.
In close collaboration with her colleagues, Marjolaine actively involved in the research strategy development and preparation process for the adjudication of disputes before tribunals and courts.
As part of her practice, she counsels and assists clients with all aspects of labour and employment law and human resources management, including matters related to the hiring, dismissal, interpretation of collective agreements, grievance arbitrations, labour relations, labour standards, occupational health and security as well as employment litigation.
- Devoted to her professional and social community, Marjolaine has been involved with the Clinique juridique de I’Université de Montreal as well as the Comity des arts de la Faculty de droit de I’Université de Montreal. Currently, Ms. Lessard-Jean she is involved in a fund that supports and promotes physical activity among youth with mental health disorders.
