John practises in the area of corporate and commercial law, involving matters relating to business corporations, the purchase and sale of privately held businesses, corporate reorganizations and the drafting of shareholder and other major business agreements. He is also familiar with the needs of owners of small and medium-sized businesses and professional corporations.
He also acts for banks, trust companies and other commercial and private lenders on a wide range of financings and secured loan transactions. John acts for many dentists, doctors, optometrists and other healthcare professionals. He acts for local distribution companies in the supply and distribution of electricity to the public.
Additionally, John’s practice involves wills, trusts, and estate planning and administration, and the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate.
John has served his community through various organizations, including the Rotary Club of Waterloo, Kitchener Waterloo Housing Inc., and the Better Business Bureau of Midwestern Ontario. Currently, he is the director of the kidsAbility Foundation.
