G. Scot Diamond practices business law and is a Partner in the Montréal office of Miller Thomson. He has extensive experience in real estate development and general real estate law. He has particular expertise in condominium, condo-hotel, phased co-ownership and fractional ownership. He practises in the areas of commercial law, corporate law, financing, asset and share purchases, non-profit organizations and sponsorships.
Mr. Diamond has served a varied and diverse clientele including real estate developers, banks, wind power developers, petrochemical corporations, pulp and paper and forestry companies.
His broad experience in real estate development includes title examinations, acquisition and sale of immovable property, leasing, development, financing (acting for both lenders and borrowers), hotel management agreements, shared services agreements, franchise agreements and construction contracts.
Mr. Diamond is listed in the Real Estate law section of the current edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada.
He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
