Anna-Marie Musson practices in the area of insurance litigation with a specialty in accident benefits. She provides litigation services to many of Canada’s leading insurers. She also handles litigation matters for a prominent U.S. insurer and provides expertise in cross-border accident benefits claims.
Anna-Marie has developed an expertise in defending accident benefits claims under all insurance regimes including, Bill 164, Bill 59, Bill 198 and claims under the New SABS – Effective September 1, 2010. She has several years of experience as lead counsel in matters before the Courts, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Court of Appeal.
Anna-Marie also handles matters involving disputes between insurers as to priority of coverage and loss transfer claims.
Anna-Marie is the co-editor of the Miller Thomson insurance blog and provides updates about cases and news stories involving accident benefits issues.
