Profile

Amelia Leckey is a partner in the Toronto office. She was a summer student and also completed her articles with Miller Thomson LLP, returning to join the firm after being called to the Ontario Bar in February 2000.

Ms. Leckey’s practice focuses on all aspects of general insurance liability, with an emphasis on life and disability and errors and omissions claims.   She also handles matters involving, product liability, occupier’s liability, and claims against the Crown. She has experience in both tort and accident benefit cases.

As part of her practice Ms. Leckey is required to attend both mandatory and private mediations. She has conducted arbitrations, appeared before various administrative tribunals and court proceedings. She has conducted trials on her own, assisted as junior counsel, and appeared on appeals.

Ms. Leckey is committed to providing diligent, attentive and cost-effective service to her clients.
