Located in the Accelerator Building, the Kitchener-Waterloo office of Miller Thomson is strategically based in the David Johnston Research and Technology Park.

The Kitchener-Waterloo office can look back on a long and rich history in the Region of Waterloo, during which it has grown into a large business law firm with over 40 lawyers.

Kitchener-Waterloo History

Miller Thomson’s Waterloo office traces its roots back to 1858 when W.H. Bowlby, Barrister and Solicitor, opened his practice on King Street in what was then known as Berlin. As an integral part of the community, the firm was critical in shaping the local landscape. Over the years it survived the Great Depression, two World Wars, a fire, relocated 10 times and changed its name 16 times.
