In its just released league table rankings, the Financial Post reported that Canadian law firms advised issuers on 152 debt and equity financings valued at a total of $19.34 billion during the second quarter of 2012. Miller Thomson topped the list of Canadian legal advisors to the underwriters in equity financing deal flow, advising on 16 deals - 4 ahead of its nearest competitor.
