Emerging Issues in Aboriginal Law as it Relates to Resource Development Activities

Sandra A. Gogal, Chad Eggerman | Saskatoon

In recognition of Saskatchewan Mining Week 2014 we are pleased to present a seminar on “Emerging Issues in Aboriginal Law as it Relates to Resource Development Activities.”

Our session focuses on understanding the legal risks and trends in case law on aboriginal consultation and accommodation with a view to managing project risk and development. A review of recent case law provides valuable insight in what the judiciary considers adequate consultation and reasonable accommodation as well as where litigation in the future will likely develop. Learn from our experienced lawyers tips and traps in the evolving area of law.
