On April 19, 2017, The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. closed a brokered private placement of units with a syndicate co-led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and GMP Securities L.P. and which included PI Financial Corp. The private placement raised approximately $6.4 million.
The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. produces farm grown, pharma grade organic cannabis and is licensed under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) to cultivate medical marijuana.
Miller Thomson advised the syndicate in this transaction with a team that included Dwight Dee, Kevin Sorochan and Erika Lai.
