Creative Planogram Company acquired by SRP Companies

On June 30, 2017, a Canadian subsidiary of US-based SRP Companies (“SRP”) acquired Ontario-based Creative Planogram Company (“CPC”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

SRP Companies is a US leader in providing in-store merchandising solutions to a wide variety of retail partners and their consumers. CPC is Canada’s leading marketer and distributor of quality, on-trend impulse products with a coast-to-coast sales and merchandising team serving over 7,000 retail locations.

Miller Thomson was counsel to CPC in this transaction with a team led by Jay Hoffman and that included Matt Hosseinian and Victoria de Luna (corporate), Eric Dufour (competition), Karen Durell (intellectual property), Michelle MacGillivray (labour and employment), Ron Choudhury (tax), Tamara Farber (environmental), Ali Baniasadi (real estate) and Kim Ozubko (pensions and benefits).
