On March 22, 2018, NAIOP Greater Toronto announced the winners of the 2017 REX Awards at a gala celebration. The “Investment Deal of the Year” was awarded to a joint venture involving Bentall Kennedy, Hullmark Developments Ltd. and Sun Life Investment Management with respect to “Radiator”, a former radiator factory now being developed as a premier rental location in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood.
NAIOP is the pre-eminent Commercial Real Estate Industry/Development Association in North America. The REX Awards celebrate the achievements of the office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate industry in the Greater Toronto Area, with a focus on results (quality and performance), skills (teamwork, collaboration, innovation and creativity) and values (community and environmental awareness).
