On September 6, 2016, Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU) announced that it had acquired RicePoint Administration Inc.
RicePoint is the leading expert in services related to legal settlements in Canada and has served as the claims administrator on some of the largest and most complex class action settlements in Canadian history.
Computershare, headquartered in Australia, is a global market leader in transfer agency and share registration, employee equity plans, mortgage servicing, proxy solicitation and stakeholder communications. It also specializes in corporate trust, bankruptcy, class action and utility administration, and a range of other diversified financial and governance services.
