Pritika joined Miller Thomson as a Summer Student in 2016. She successfully completed a Dual JD, from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to attending Law School, Pritika completed an Honours Business Management degree with a specialization in Accounting, along with a Diploma of Business French from Western University. Her academic achievements include graduating on the Dean’s Honour List at Western University, recognition for being amongst the top twenty students entering Windsor Law, and placement on the Dean’s Honour List at the University of Detroit after completing her first year of law school.

During her time at Western University, Pritika was actively involved in a variety of extracurricular activities including: volunteering with Canada Revenue Agency to file income tax returns, acting as a group leader for the International Students Peer Guide Program, and serving as a Volunteer English Teacher with Outreach 360.

While in law school, Pritika was a representative for the Corporate Commercial Law club, a Volunteer Ambassador for Windsor law, and a desk staff for residence services. In her second year, she became an executive member of the Corporate Commercial Law club acting as Co-director, and an executive member of the Merchandising Committee responsible for designing and selling Windsor Law gear. During her final year, she organized fundraising events in partnership with If/When/How, an American non-profit organization, to raise awareness about reproductive justice.

Recently, Pritika also completed an externship with the City of Detroit Corporation Counsel, in the Tax Appeals department. Under the guidance of tax and transactional lawyers, she learned a great deal about legal issues faced by municipalities on a daily basis.

Pritika is multi-lingual. She is proficient in the following languages: English, French, Hindi and Tamil. In her free time, she enjoys working out, trying different wines, listening to music, exploring new brunch spots and spending time with family, friends and dogs.
