Legal Assistant - Tax/Charities/Not-for-Profit

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Toronto office for a full-time, permanent position in the Corporate/Commercial group supporting a busy partner and associate with practices focused in the tax area for Charities and Not-for-Profit organizations.

This is a great opportunity for a Legal Assistant who enjoys a dynamic fast-paced desk with a focus on being a team player in a strong team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Legal Assistant in the area of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on tax. Experience working in a not-for-profit practice would be an asset.

The successful candidate will be an administrative professional with a “take charge” attitude in keeping their respective practices organized. The incumbent will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, quick turnaround time, a keen eye for detail, a professional attitude and have no aversion to keeping paper files organized and up-to-date.
