Legal Assistant - Business Law (Securities)

We
are seeking a Legal Assistant for a full-time opportunity in the Business
Law group supporting 2 Partners. This is a great opportunity for a Legal Assistant who
enjoys a dynamic desk and being a solid contributor to a team. The successful
candidate must have minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant. Some
securities or corporate/commercial experience is a definite asset.
The successful candidate will be a “go-getter” who takes pride in keeping practices organized and thrives on being a go-to person for any systems/procedures to keep things running smoothly.
The incumbent will possess excellent written and
verbal communication skills, quick turnaround time, a keen eye for detail
especially in the area of document proofreading, basic correspondence drafting,
a professional attitude and a genuine passion to go above and beyond. Strong
Word and Excel skills and experience with dockets and accounts are a must.
